Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2, 2026

These terms govern your use of Northic, operated by Hamdaam LLC. By using the service you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

The service

Northic provides marketing analysis and management tools for businesses. This includes a free website and marketing audit, and paid subscription modules covering local search and AI visibility, reviews, and content. Further modules covering advertising, lead follow-up and customer chat are described on our site as in development and are not available yet. You choose which modules to enable and pay only for those.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including that of anyone you invite. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business you are registering.

Connecting third-party accounts

For a page we host on our own domain, we read Google's search figures for that page from our own Search Console account, filtered to your page alone. Nothing is connected by you and nothing is shared between customers. This is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Businesses we write to first. Sometimes we run the same public check on a business before it has asked, from what anyone searching it can see — its listing, its website, its reviews — and email the business's public address once: the score, the biggest finding, and a link to the report. We use addresses that a business has itself made public (on its listing, its site, or a directory), never a bought list. To find those businesses we may ask Google which businesses it lists for a trade in a town and read each one's own website for the address it shows (our reader names itself as NorthicBot; what it reads, and how to keep it out); what Google told us about them — a name, a rating — is kept for no more than 30 days. One email, and no follow-up; the unsubscribe link in it stops all of it. An address that unsubscribes, that bounces, or whose owner marks our email as spam goes on a stop list and is never written to again by any part of Northic; the list holds the address and nothing else, and it is the one record we keep after a deletion request, because it is what keeps the promise. If a business writes back, its reply is kept alongside its report so a person can answer it; a reply is answered by a person, never sent automatically, and is deleted with the rest of the business's record.

Case stories. With your agreement — asked for and given outside the product, never assumed — we may show your business on our home page and at a page of its own as a case story: its name, town, score over time, and what Northic did, all read from your own record at the moment the page loads. Nothing is written by hand and nothing is invented. Tell us at any time and it comes down the same day.

Some features require you to connect an outside account — a Google account (Search Console, Google Business Profile) or a Facebook Page. By connecting an account you confirm you are authorised to do so on behalf of that business, and you grant us permission to access it as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for changes they make to their services or policies.

Content published on your behalf

Nothing is published or changed under your business's name without your approval of that specific item. That includes replies to reviews, posts on your Google listing, and changes to listing fields such as your description, phone number or website. Where you approve something — a reply, a post, or a change to your listing — you remain responsible for it and for ensuring it complies with the rules of the platform it appears on and with applicable law. We provide drafting assistance and make the change you approved; the published content, and the accuracy of the details you approve for your listing, are yours.

Pages we host for you

The Content module can publish a one-page website for your business at an address on northicgrowth.com. That page and its contents are yours. If you connect your own domain, you buy and hold it in your own name — Northic never registers or holds a domain on your behalf. You can download the page's HTML at any time from your dashboard. If you cancel, the page stays reachable for 60 days so you have time to move it, and is then taken down. You are responsible for the photographs, logo and text you publish there, including having the right to use them — a logo you upload must be one you own or are licensed to use.

Reviews on your page. Your page can quote reviews of your business that are already public on Google or Facebook. By default we choose which to show; you can also mark specific reviews to feature. Either way we quote the review as written, with the reviewer's first name only. You may not edit a review's wording, and we will remove a quoted review from your page if the reviewer or the platform asks us to.

Takedown requests

If you believe content on a page we host infringes your copyright or other rights, email hello@northicgrowth.com with a link to the content, a description of the work you say is infringed, and your contact details. We will review the request promptly and remove or disable access to infringing content where appropriate, and notify the customer who published it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Northic to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

Your business, not someone else's

You may only register a business you own or are authorised to act for. Registering a business that is not yours — a competitor's, a former employer's, anyone's — or using Northic to publish a page in another business's name, answer customers as them, request or respond to reviews for them, or otherwise interfere with their listing, reputation or customers, is impersonation and is prohibited.

If we find it, we end the account immediately and without refund, take down any page published under it, and tell the business concerned. Impersonating a business, or interfering with its accounts and online presence, may be unlawful under fraud, identity, unfair-competition and computer-misuse laws; we cooperate with the affected business and with law enforcement, including by providing the account details and records we hold, and you are responsible for any loss it causes. If a page on our domain is impersonating your business, email hello@northicgrowth.com and we will act on it promptly.

Fees and billing

Paid subscriptions are charged per module, per business, monthly in advance. There is no separate platform fee. Where the modules you choose for a business cost more separately than a bundle that includes them, you are charged the bundle's price instead, and everything else in that bundle is included for that business at no extra cost, switched off until you switch it on. Advertising spend is billed separately and directly by the relevant ad platform — module fees cover management of your campaigns, not the cost of the ads themselves. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time unless required by law.

Tax. Prices shown are before sales tax. Where we are required to collect it, tax is calculated at checkout based on your business address and shown before you confirm. If your business is exempt, you can enter your tax ID at checkout and it will be applied.

If a payment fails. We keep your modules running for 14 days after a failed payment, and we will email you during that time — when it first fails, a week before the deadline, and the day before it. Nothing is switched off during those 14 days. If the payment still has not gone through at the end of them, the modules stop and we will tell you they have. Your hosted page stays reachable for 60 days from that point, and your data stays yours throughout.

Website projects

A website we design and build for you is project work, not part of any subscription. It is quoted as a fixed price before anything begins, and nothing is owed until you have seen that quote and accepted it. Your monthly modules are unaffected either way.

Payment. Half the agreed price is due before work starts, and the balance before the site goes live. We invoice through Stripe under Hamdaam LLC.

If you change your mind. Cancel before we begin work and the deposit is refunded in full. Once work has started the deposit is not refundable, because by then the time has been spent. We will always tell you the day we begin, so you know which side of that line you are on.

What the quote covers. The quote covers the scope agreed in writing. If you want something that was not discussed, we price it separately rather than quietly absorbing it or quietly dropping something else. Either of us can decline a change.

What you own. Any domain is registered in your name and stays yours. We never register a domain in our name and never hold one on your behalf. On final payment, the site files are yours to take anywhere, including to another provider.

Where it is built, and who holds it. By default a site we build for you is built on your own hosting account, in your name, and stays there. You create the account and grant us the access we need to build; we ask for the narrowest permissions that allow it and no billing or administrative access. When the site is live we ask you to remove that access, and we will remind you if it is still in place a week later. The hosting account, its billing and the site are yours throughout — there is nothing to transfer at the end because nothing was ever ours. We do not host sites we build; a page we generate for you under Content ON is the only kind of page Northic hosts.

What keeps running afterwards. A site we build reads two feeds from Northic: the markup search engines and AI assistants read, and a document of your own facts. That is how everything your subscription does — your listing, reviews, search figures, the words Google shows — keeps working on a site we do not host. If you stop paying for the module that provides it, the feeds stop and the site continues to work with whatever it last had; nothing is taken down and nothing breaks.

Third-party costs. Domain registration, paid themes, stock photography, payment processing fees and similar costs are yours and are quoted separately from our work where they apply.

Referral programme

We may issue referral codes to partners we have agreed terms with. A partner earns the percentage stated in their agreement of the subscription payments we actually receive, net of refunds, from customers who signed up using their code, for as long as their agreement says. Website projects and any other one-off work are not commissionable. We pay out on the schedule in the partner's agreement, once the amount earned is above the minimum stated there.

A code is for introducing customers you genuinely know to Northic. Using your own code on your own accounts, creating accounts to earn commission, offering to share commission with the customer, or misrepresenting Northic to make a sale voids the code and anything unpaid on it. We can end the programme or change its terms with notice; anything already earned under the old terms is still paid.

The help button

Northic answers questions about itself from its own feature descriptions and setup steps. It will not invent a feature, a price or a setting, and where it cannot answer it says so and offers to pass the question to us. Nothing it says is advice about your business, and nothing it says is a promise about results.

The Concierge, and people who message you

If you switch the Concierge on, it answers visitors on your website using what you have written and what your Google listing publishes. It will not invent answers, and it hands anything it cannot answer to you rather than guessing on your behalf. You remain responsible for what your business tells people; we are responsible for it never saying more than you gave it.

People who message you through it are your customers, not ours. Anything they send — including a phone number or email they leave so you can reply — is held for you and used only to pass their question to you and your answer back. We do not market to them, do not add them to any list, and do not use their details anywhere else in Northic. Conversations are deleted 30 days after the last message.

What you do with those details is yours to answer for: if you contact somebody for anything other than replying to what they asked, that is your marketing and your responsibility under the law that applies to you.

No guarantee of results

Marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including how search engines, social platforms and AI assistants rank, select and display content. We provide tools and analysis in good faith, but we do not guarantee any particular ranking, traffic level, review volume, lead count, or revenue result. Audit scores are our own assessment based on the information available to us and should be treated as guidance, not as a definitive measurement.

On AI assistants specifically. No one can guarantee that a business will be named or recommended in an answer from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or any similar system, and we do not claim to. What we do is make your business readable and consistent across the sources those systems draw on — whether any of them then mentions you is their decision, not ours.

On drafted content. Review replies, posts and page copy are produced by an AI model from information you have given us. You are responsible for reading and approving anything before it is published under your name.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features that depend on third-party platforms may be limited or unavailable if those platforms change their access rules.

Intellectual property

The Northic service, including its software and design, remains our property. Your business content, your data, and content from your connected accounts remain yours. You grant us permission to process that content only as needed to provide the service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us during that period.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we stop offering the service. On termination we will handle your data as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing, either side agrees to try to resolve the dispute informally by email for 30 days.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email before it takes effect.
